My system is Dell T-7500 Workstation with Windows -7 ( 64 bit ) & I booted it from my 500 GB HDD & kept the 3 TB HDD as a slave Asus P5Q Pro, WD 3TB drive. The motherboard clearly sees a 3TB drive while the OS sees something that is excluding around 2.2TB of the raw capacity. The Z400 cannot use boot drives greater than 2TB. solved Problems installing new 3TB HDD. I have the same 746GB problem and thanks to the article I found here I understand now what the problem is.
