Googling, Some say to just let the Win7 install disk quick format the SSD and do its install. All Rights Reserved. Currently with Win 7, I just use the install disc and format from there but I am wondering if I am not getting the best performance out of my SSD because I turned my old C drive into my D drive, then cloned it onto my C drive. weblink
